About Amanda

I work with adolescence and adults across Florida and Massachusetts to address trauma and PTSD, OCD anxiety, depression, as well as adjustment difficulty and life transitions. Together, we'll build practical tools, explore the patterns keeping you stuck, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels right.

My approach

I believe therapy should feel practical, collaborative, and personalized. Using EMDR, CBT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness, we'll explore the patterns behind your struggles, build effective coping skills, and create lasting change that extends beyond the therapy room.

About me

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work and have worked in the mental health field since 2017. My experience spans a variety of settings, including addiction counseling, domestic violence advocacy and counseling, community mental health, and private practice.

More background

I believe that meaningful change often begins with slowing down, becoming curious about ourselves, and making space to understand our experiences without judgment. My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you explore your experiences, recognize patterns, and discover what feels meaningful and helpful for you.

Mindfulness and intentional living are important parts of my own life. I enjoy hiking and spending time in nature, practicing yoga and meditation, exploring art and museums, and finding a balance between quiet moments at home and opportunities to explore something new. These practices influence how I approach therapy, reminding me of the value of being present, staying curious, and allowing space for growth without expecting everything to happen all at once.

In our work together, I aim to create a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself, explore difficult experiences at your own pace, and approach yourself with greater understanding and compassion. I value authenticity, connection, and collaboration, and I believe therapy can be both a place to explore deeper experiences and an opportunity to take practical steps toward the life you want to build. My hope is that our work helps you feel more connected to yourself, more confident in navigating life's challenges, and better able to move forward in a way that feels true to you.
